Boy Out of the Country - Biography

Amanda studied at The School of Physical Theatre in London and The University of Ballarat, she holds a BA in Performing Arts.   Amanda works as an actor, voice over artist, public speaking coach and theatre producer. The core of her producing work has been with the creation, development and management of Essential Theatre (www.essentialtheatre.com.au)

She has spent many years performing in Essential Theatre’s tour of  Shakespeare in the Vines – an annual tour of Shakespearian comedies to Australian and New Zealand wineries. Her highlights include the roles of Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing and Lady Macbeth in Macbeth. Amanda has also worked in various Australian dramas, commercials and film, and her most recent screen credits include Offspring, Wentworth and short film Loveletters by Leo Baker.

Recently Amanda was thrilled to perform in the Australian premiere productions Boy out of the Country at fortyfivedownstairs and Barassi-The Stage Show at the Athenaeum Theatre and the Arts Centre.
